Brooke is an experienced investigator who relishes using her highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills to assist employers arrive at practical solutions to workplace issues.
Brooke specialises in complex workplace investigations including investigating complaints of misconduct including bullying, sexual harassment, discrimination, and reportable conduct. Brooke also has experience in conducting workplace reviews and is an engaging workplace trainer.
Brooke is passionate about workplace relations, joining Worklogic in 2016 after 10 years as a workplace relations lawyer with various government agencies.
Brooke was employed at the Fair Work Ombudsman (including its predecessor agencies) for 10 years. She worked collaboratively with Inspectors and provided legal advice and assistance during workplace relations investigations and prosecutions. She provided advice to clients about a range of workplace issues, including the termination of employment, redundancy, general protections, award and agreement interpretation and evidentiary issues.
During her time at Worklogic she has assisted a wide variety of clients including lawyers, small business, government departments and agencies, retail and transport businesses. More recently, Brooke completed a secondment with the Commission for Children and Young People in Victoria and has conducted several reportable conduct investigations.
An engaging and knowledgeable presenter, Brooke also enjoys developing and presenting workshops and training sessions about workplace relations issues to a variety of audiences. Brooke’s experience as a litigator and advocate gives her significant experience in front of tough crowds, having appeared on behalf of the Fair Work Ombudsman in the Federal Circuit Court on a number of occasions.
